Student Resources

In addition to the chemistry help on this website, if you want to get great chemistry help for developing a solid understanding of chemistry, and get higher exam scores, I also strongly encourage you to use ChemTutor Excalibur (from Interactive Learning, Inc.).  ChemTutor Excalibur is an awesome software package that makes chemistry easier and more fun to learn.  All of my students have their own copy of ChemTutor Excalibur on their computers and they work with it throughout my first-year and second-year chemistry courses to help them prepare for each test in each subject area of chemistry and for my final exams.  The results are very impressive and my students really enjoy working with ChemTutor Excalibur.  I have been especially pleased with my students’ scores on the SAT II Subject Test in Chemistry and the College Board AP Chemistry Exam.  As a result of getting chemistry help with ChemTutor Excalibur, their scores are noticeably higher now than in previous years before ChemTutor Excalibur was available.

The tutorials in ChemTutor Excalibur teach chemistry using a unique approach that students really like.  The tutorials are concise and to-the-point, yet they contain everything that a chemistry student needs to know.  Many students use ChemTutor Excalibur exclusively (without ever reading their textbooks), and they do very well on their exams.
